Virginia assistant Ron Sanchez will see his mentor on the opposing sideline. On Sanchez's own sideline, the Cavaliers are experimenting with the lineup. It helps when Mike Scott is in that lineup.

On the other sideline, UAB is succeeding despite losing its heralded recruits.

Former Virginia Coach Al Groh was voted as one of the 10 worst coaches in the decade in New York despite coaching only one season with the Jets. (Groh, by the way, was on Temple's sideline during Tuesday's EagleBank Bowl.)
