Halftime Update: Virginia 35, North Carolina 30

Virginia came to play tonight -- give the Cavaliers that much. Still an entire half remaining, but credit the Cavaliers for responding after Thursday's loss.

Some quick notes before stats...

- Sylven Landesberg's career-high in a first half is 17 points vs. Auburn earlier this season. He has 16 already in the first half (8 of 11 from the field).
- Virginia reached the free-throw line just once. North Carolina had 12 free-throw attempts.
- The Cavaliers have played 10 players, including Calvin Baker and Assane Sene. Baker hit a three-pointer, but continues to struggle at point guard.
- Foul watch: Jerome Meyinsse and Will Sherrill both have two.

Onto stats...
Scott: 5 points, 1 rebound
Meyinsse: 4 points, 3 rebounds
Landesberg: 16 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist
Zeglinski: 3 points, 3 assists
Evans: 2 points, 3 assists
Sherrill: 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist
Baker: 3 points
