Men's Basketball: Baker back with Cavaliers
Senior guard Calvin Baker is back at practice after a "coach's decision" kept Virginia's captain from traveling with the team to Saturday's game at Wake Forest. The Cavaliers held practice on Monday morning.
"He practiced with us," Bennett said Monday. "It was a coach's decision not to bring him to Wake, but he's back with us, we're going to move forward and he'll be fully participating up to this week and the game."
Baker was demoted from the starting lineup in favor of productive freshman Jontel Evans, who has been more productive both offensively and defensively than Baker. The senior joins junior Jeff Jones and Mustapha Farrakhan as guards off the bench.
