Halftime: Virginia 25, Virginia Tech 21

For those who are watching, you can confirm we all just witnessed an ugly first half. For those of you who aren't watching, I'll sum it up this way: Many missed shots. Virginia is shooting 30 percent from the field; Virginia Tech is shooting 32.1 percent from the field.

The Virginia Tech fans are not happy about the officials. Virginia Tech has reached the line just twice. The Cavaliers made nine trips, and both Malcolm Delaney and Jeff Allen have two fouls for the Hokies.

Here are your first-half stats:

Scott: 9 points, 7 rebounds
Meyinsse: 4 points, 3 rebounds
Evans: 1 point, 1 rebound, 3 assists
Zeglinski: 0 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist
Baker: 1 rebound, 1 assist
Sene: 3 rebounds
Sherrill: 1 rebound
Jones: 2 points, 1 assist
