Halftime: Virginia 34, Wake Forest 29
Virginia entered halftime with a lead because it shot 50 percent from the field. The defense was not extraordinary, and the Cavaliers suffered foul trouble. In fact, Mike Scott played as well as he could play through 10 minutes (10 points, 5 of 5 shooting), but picked up his second foul in the first half again against Wake Forest. So, too, did Jontel Evans, Assane Sene and Will Sherrill.
Here were your first-half stats:
Scott - 10 points, 3 rebounds
Meyinsse - 2 points, 2 rebounds
Evans - 2 points, 2 assists
Zeglinski - 3 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist
Landesberg - 13 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists
Farrakhan - 4 points, 1 assist
Baker - 2 assists
Sene - 1 rebound
Sherrill - 2 rebounds
