Poll: Should Sylven Landesberg make first-team all-ACC?
There are still three games remaining in the regular season, so this question might seem premature. But after Virginia guard Sylven Landesberg was one of 30 players named to the Naismith Award midseason list on Wednesday, the question shot to mind.
There are five other ACC players on the list: Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez, Wake Forest forward Al-Farouq Aminu, Clemson forward Trevor Booker, Georgia Tech forward Gani Lawal and Duke guard Jon Scheyer are the others. (Virginia Tech guard Malcolm Delaney is not on the list, but probably should be. He is certainly in discussion among the conference's top players.)
Take the six players on the list, Delaney and other ACC standouts such as Duke's Kyle Singler, North Carolina State's Tracy Smith and Wake Forest's Ish Smith, and it will understandably be difficult for voters to pick the five best players. (For full disclosure, Washington Post reporters do not vote.)
So, with three games plays, what do you think?
