Virginia basketball: How will they finish?

It's halftime of the ACC season, and Virginia finished 5-3 in the first half. That is better than almost anyone expected, although not as good as it could have been. The Cavaliers lost two games in overtime on their home court. They've had five of eight games at John Paul Jones Arena.

Here's the staggering number for you: Virginia's average margin of victory in ACC wins has been 12 points. The Cavaliers' average margin in ACC losses has been 6.67 points.

The back half of the schedule begins Wednesday at Maryland. Four of Virginia's next five games are on the road. Six teams besides Virginia have winning records in the ACC, and five of the Cavaliers' remaining games come against those teams.

What do you think Virginia's final ACC record will be at the end of the regular season? Vote below, and leave any comments or e-mail thoughts to bermanz@washpost.com. I'm always curious to hear what you think.
