Calvin Baker out remainder of season for personal reasons
Virginia guard Calvin Baker will miss the remainder of the season for "personal family reasons," essentially ended the career of the Cavaliers' senior captain. He notified Coach Tony Bennett of his decision on Monday.
“A member of his family is ill and he needs to be with his family," Bennett said in a team-issued statement. "Calvin and his family have our best wishes.”
Baker averaged 3.0 points, 1.9 assists and 1.2 rebounds a game during a season in which he's been frustrated with his playing time.
