Statement from Jeff Jones

I just got off the phone with Jeff Jones, who wanted to convey a statement about his decision to transfer:

"I love everything about U-Va. and my teammates. I also appreciate the fans, and I have been the most positive person here the last three years. This is the best move for me. As far as going to another school, I want to go to a school with a program that would give me the best chance to realize my dreams regardless of the school name. And I wish the U-Va. family the best of luck."

Jones did not want to comment further.

Only going to get one more year...but he WILL get more playing time somewhere else.

Just think the Virginia degree would make more for him.

Oh well, good luck Jeff! You were a Twerp Killer!

That's fine -- because I associated him with UVa's former coach.
