Update on Javaris Brown, Tory Allen-Ford

Wide receiver Javaris Brown and defensive end Tory Allen-Ford were both held out of spring football practices, a decision made by Coach Mike London for personal reasons. Both were on the field for Saturday's spring game. London did not allow them to play, but they went through drills before the spring game and will also participate in the final practice this week.

Wide receivers coach Shawn Moore can assess Brown and defensive line coach Jeff Hanson can assess Allen-Ford. Neither coach has been able to do so to this point, and both players have slipped down the depth chart in result.

"Hopefully, it's a lesson learned from these guys that you do the right thing," London said. "They're back on the team, and we'll keep going form there."
