Virginia gets on the board in a hurry

In fairness to VMI, this game was scoreless a lot longer than I thought it would be. Marc Verica just threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Dontrelle Inman to put Virginia up, 7-0, with 11:02 remaining in the first quarter.

Another quick note: Despite being announced in the starting lineup, neither senior cornerback Ras-I Dowling (hamstring), nor junior strong safety Rodney McLeod (knee) started today's game. Devin Wallace and Trey Womack started in their place for the third straight game.
