Virginia to wear third different uni combo in as many games
When Virginia takes the field against Virginia Military Institute on Saturday, the Cavaliers will be wearing blue jerseys and blue pants. That will mark the third different uniform combination the team has donned in as many games. Coach Mike London announced the uniform selection for the VMI game on his weekly radio show Monday night.
Virginia wore orange jerseys and blue pants in its season-opening win over Richmond. The Cavaliers wore white jerseys and orange pants during a loss at Southern California the following week. It's up to the team's seniors to decide the Cavaliers' uniform combination from week to week.
"I like whatever the players like, because they pick," London said during his Monday press conference when asked if he had a favorite uniform choice. "The combinations have been pretty good so far."
