Virginia's ACC opener against Florida State to kick off at noon
Virginia will open ACC play Saturday against Florida State in a home game that will start at noon and be televised on the ACC Network. The Cavaliers are 2-1 after yesterday's 48-7 victory over 1-AA Virginia Military Institute. The Seminoles -- who defeated Wake Forest, 31-0, yesterday -- are 3-1.
Florida State will mark the first 1-A opponent Virginia has hosted at Scott Stadium this season. School officials have declared plans for a "white out" against the Seminoles. White T-shirts will be passed out to fans as they enter the stadium.
