FS Corey Mosley did not travel with team, will not play vs. B.C.

By Steve Yanda

UPDATED at 12:02 p.m.

Junior free safety Corey Mosley did not travel with the Virginia football team Friday and will not play Saturday at Boston College. One of Mosley's uncles, James Patrick Mosley, was shot and killed Nov. 12 in Chesterfield, and Mosley has been in his native Richmond all week with family. James Mosley was instrumental in raising Corey.

Mosley has made eight starts in nine appearances this season and is tied for second on the team in tackles (47).

Junior Dom Joseph started in Mosley's place Saturday. He has recorded 24 tackles this season.
