Live from Wallace Wade Stadium: Virginia at Duke
Fresh off the first signature victory -- a 24-19 upset over then-No. 22 Miami -- of the Mike London era, Virginia (4-4, 1-3 ACC) will attempt Saturday to accomplish what, of late, has been quite an arduous task: earning a win in the month of November.
The Cavaliers have lost 10 consecutive games in November. They have not won in this month since defeating Miami, 48-0, on Nov. 10, 2007.
Today, they'll take on a Duke squad that knocked off Navy, 34-31, last weekend. The Blue Devils (2-6, 0-4) have won two straight games against Virginia, including a 28-17 win in Charlottesville last season.
London has had a bit of recent success against Duke. Last season, while the head coach at 1-AA Richmond, London led the Spiders to a 24-16 win over the Blue Devils.
