Does anybody at the Post actually consider you a "journalist"? Today you state that " VH1 Classic WILL air Nena's 1984 hit "99 Luftballons" for a full hour." Wrong. If you had actually bothered to do any research, you might have found the press release stating "VH1 Classic will air Nena's classic music video for "99 Luftballons," well, not 99 times in a row, but pretty close on Sunday, MARCH 26 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM/ET." How hard is your job that you can't perform the most basic fact-checking?

This is a joke, right? What about "Sunday, MARCH 26 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM/ET" doesn't telegraph "hour" to you?

Still, as a public service, here are some other stories also
characterizing the hour-long loop, which will raise $35,000 for Katrina relief, as "an hour":

BBC News:

Miami Herald:

P.S. I'm a big fan of the song -- German, English and especially the cover by 7 Seconds -- and hope to tune in for at least one go round.

I think his issue was that Sunday, March 26 had already passed by the time this was posted--not that it wasn't going to be a full hour.

At least GOB is smart enough to know how to read. You would think the fact that "WILL" was in all caps might have clued you in. Let's put in in simple terms for your feeble little mind.
The verb form "will" is used to imply that the action will occur in the future. However, what you posted about occurred in the past.
Are you really this stupid?

Mea culpa.

The two versions of the story I found online and used to weigh inclusion in this morning's update were both written AFTER March 26 and both reported the event as yet to come.

Of all the things in the world to get one's knickers twisted, why is Al choosing this? My guess: He went to mark his calendar and block out an hour of his time to watch VH1 Classic only to realize that the day had passed. Truly heartbreaking.

Can we instead just rejoice and sing praises about Benecio playing Che? Really, people... that's the only thing that matters.

There is a portal site about Keira Knightley with related blog postings and web pages if anyone is interested.
