Ah Britney. When will you learn that you can't have it both ways? You go on *national television* to plea for privacy, then a week later show up naked on a magazine cover. Do you want press coverage, or not? Y'all need to make up your mind, country girl. Although after seeing you rumpled with Matt Lauer, I suppose we all should be thanking our lucky stars that Bazaar embraces the miracle of airbrushing.

you know, you can't complain about how the paparazzi won't let you have your privacy and then pose naked in a magazine.

word, lizzie. word.

she's trying to erase the damage that the interview did (maybe she didn't know at the time), but she has to realize that it's too late now...

Airbrushing does wonders doesn't it???

She's almost starting to make Paris Hilton seem intelligent. Reality show, interviews, and now this - yet she claims the paparazzi are treating her unfairly. She won't stop putting herself out there, so she's fair game. Why didn't her "letter o' truth" clue her in that each time she speaks, she just makes her stupidity more obvious?

Now I'm gonna have to gouge my eyes out!

It is funny how much *less* skeevy/trampy she looks in this nude pic than in the clothed one with Robin Givahn's article.

I stand by my previous (and thanks for the props) statement: there is no way that is Britney. She looks too good to be the trailer trash that showed up to talk to Matt Lauer.

i don't think this conflicts with her Matt Lauer bomb, it's all just her trying to salvage her image. she was (is) quickly becoming a white-trash joke, so she tried to blame that mean nasty media and beg for privacy. when that backfired she tried to go the sexy/mature demi route, which no one's buying either. at the end of the day, it all comes down to her trying (desperately) to salvage the Britney Brand and her source of income. clearly it's not working as it's all as fake as her hair color.

photoshop, not airbrush, welcome to the digital age my friends. thats not actually her body, but a copy/paste model body with a britney head. for realz

It's Buffett.

I suspect this photo shoot was a last minute idea because of all the criticism about her hair, eye makeup, clothes during the Matt Lauer interview.

All I gotta say is: that hoe is HOT to TROT!!

can we say airbrush?

Posted by: anon | June 29, 2006 2:26 PM | Report abuse

The papparazzi made me show my big pregnancy-swollen yabbos! Waaa waaa!!

Posted by: Loudoun Voter | June 29, 2006 2:32 PM | Report abuse

What a piece of trash. She is so young and stupid that she doesn't have a clue what she's doing. You can't have it both ways, chick-a-dee. Choose one--privacy or papparazzi.

Other than royalties, what is her source of income? Does she plan to make a comeback? She needs to think about that, especially with a gold-digging, loser hubby and two little ones.

whatev, she may be an idiot but she looks mad tight

For the record, her Lauer interview ended with:

Spears: " have to realize that we're people and that we need -- we just need privacy and we need our respect. And -- and those are things that you have to have as a human being."

Absolutely. It's just that posing nude on a magazine cover while six months pregnant is not the way to get what you need.

I think Britney is such a good looking pregnant mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Britney.

I am sick myself, because I used to watch her in those teeny-booper videos, in that school girl dress and fantisize all the time , but now she went from sex goddess to cheap white trash in no time. I can't beleive my eyes. the only thing she has going for her now is her money.

People yall need to stop hating!!!!!!! Stop being jelly!!!!!!! She's famous your not!!!!!!!! I think she looks great!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: angelina | June 29, 2006 10:30 PM | Report abuse

Okay, the difference here is that she AGREED to have her picture taken at a certain time, in a certain place, for a specific magazine, by that magazine's photographer! She was in control. There's a BIG difference between not wanting paparazzi chasing you down the highway and posing for a magazine cover. And she looks beautiful--much better than the Matt Lauer debacle. Yes, the photo is undoubtedly touched up--what cover shot isn't? Do you think Playboy centerfolds, beautiful as they are, really look THAT good? And why is everyone so horrified at the way a woman's body looks when it's creating life?! Dismiss her as trash all you want, but she makes more than all of us put together.

Posted by: go britney | June 29, 2006 10:45 PM | Report abuse

Hah! All you need do is replace Britney's head with that of Janet Jackson and you will hear much noise and calls for the lynching of black America to be re-instated! Tell and show more of the double-standards/hypocrisy of the celebrity world and us, their fans, their admirers! Looks like stupidity and trash are now synonyms: I had always thought Britney (knew she) was better than that! You don't think Britney might just as well be pulling a fast one, spanking her kind in the face?

Posted by: Justice | July 11, 2006 5:52 PM | Report abuse

Long before Britney posed nude she was trash! A very fine example of the way the young people of our country should NOT be!! Britney has proven once again what fame and wealth will do to a person that does not have the COMMON SENSE to handle it properly!!!!

Posted by: LAF | July 17, 2006 1:59 PM | Report abuse

it's her life...let her live it.
