Why has the media felt compelled to always refer to the marriage "of Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban"? A person would have had to be in a coma for months to be unaware of who Keith Urban is, even if you were not a country music fan. The label "country singer" is superfluous before his name.

Actually, I didn't know who he was until I read "country singer" before his name so many times that eventually it stuck. And I don't think I would have otherwise heard of him (or remembered anything about him) had he not been involved with Nicole. And I consider myself to be pretty on top of pop culture. Not trying to be snarky, just being honest.
