Now that Demi and Ashton have cancelled their plans for a "Graduate" remake, can we move the Doomsday clock back a few minutes?

The bit about Seal and Heidi reminded me of the words of Gene Weingarten, who wrote that "[displaying a family snapshot] is about what pleases YOU. To have it out there is rude, like pressing your vacation videos on guests."

That Gene used the phrase "to have it out there" is pure gravy.

I forgot Guy Ritchie had a career other than fighting with Madonna.

Based on that photo, Keira looks good. Don't know what the anorexia gossip is all about. Is she really only 21?

Reading this piece about Seal and Frau Klum reminds me of Madeleine Khan in Blazing Saddles:

Article:

"Meanwhile the News notes that someone fortunate enough to lay eyes on the portraits appears to not only very impressed with Heidi's fabulous body, but with Seal's endowment as well."

Blazing Saddles:

"Is it twue what they say about you Schwartzes? It's Twue! It's Twue"

(I'm a black male, if any PC questions arise over this post.)

Nice to see Billy Joel will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. At least THAT hasn't been outsourced overseas....

I wish Mandy Moore would stop maligning the airy, sugarspun yumminess that is her early oevre. Existentialism shmegistentialism, I'm missing her like candy.
