Creative Captioning: Kiss and Tell

By Liz Kelly

What are the odds? One week yields two photos of stars sandwiched between a set of big-haired smoochers. Up top, Bruce Willis is comfortably flanked by actress Eva Mendes (left) and model Petra Nemcova while, below, new "View"-er Whoopi Goldberg gets a double-dose of Muppet love from new character Abizo (left) and that ticklish rake Elmo. But which makes better Creative Captioning material? That, should you choose to accept it, is your mission. Find the hidden ironies, the fantastical absurdities, the immature yuks in one (or both) of the above photos and post it below.

The best entry will be elevated to a position of prominence here in Celebritology land and its writer crowned Official Celebritology Captionologist for the week of Oct. 7 - 13, a title not to be taken lightly as it entitles the bearer to myriad delusions of grandeur.

I missed the chat so didn't get in my 2 cents about captioning. I thought the idea was to come up w/a newspaper-like caption, something short and descriptive with a generous dose of pith since this is Celebritiology.

Since it seems none of the winners are ever remotely newspaper-like I end up annoyed and never click the links to see the runners up.
