"Suri Cruise meets Mickey and Minnie Mouse" -- only she calls them "Dad" and "Mom."

"Michael Phelps won't be charged for drug use" -- but he will get his 5c deposit back if he returns the bong.

"Miley Cyrus's Twitter account hacked" -- finally we get the backstory to that hilarious Chinese photo.

"Michael Jackson's Neverland treasures to hit auction block in April" -- boy is he going to be mad when the bidding for that Elephant Man skeleton falls short of expectations.

"Lindsay Lohan wears dress with security tag still attached" -- and she gets a little charge out of it everytime she enters or exits Macy's.

"Madonna wants to play Wallis Simpson" -- don't cry for me, Edward Windsor? Promise me it won't be a musical.

The designers really do think women are coathangers. Why else would shoulder pads be coming back?

LiLo, your weight loss might be unintentional, but the drug consumption that leads to the weight loss is not.

Madonna as Wallis Simpson. I can see it. One older woman obssessed with youth and wealth being played by another one. I've seen pictures. Wallis was NOT worth giving up a throne for.

"Suri Cruise meets Mickey and Minnie Mouse" -- Why not. She lives with Goofy and Tinkerbell already.

"[Paris and Nicki are] such a good example of good eating. " -- That's about the only good example they set.

"Lindsay Lohan's weight lost is not intentional." -- She just ate some of Sally Winslet's pickled shallots.

"Madonna wants to play Wallis Simpson" -- Unfortunately, her portrayal will be indistinguishable from Marge Simpson.

"Lindsay Lohan wears dress with security tag still attached" -- and she gets a little charge out of it everytime she enters or exits Macy's.

"[Lourdes arrived] complete with a fetching pair of Deirdre Barlow glasses"-- I wore bug-eye glasses when I was Lourdes' age. They were designer too-- Sophia Loren. I'd hardly call them "fetching."

"Madonna wants to play Wallis Simpson" -- don't cry for me, Edward Windsor? Promise me it won't be a musical.

Well, there's always the reason that mob mistress Virginia Hill gave to Senator Estes Kefauver...

Say what you will about Tom and Katie, those pix of Suri set a new standard for adorable celebuspawn. (And mdreader's Goofy and Tinkerbell comment is an early candidate for comment of the week!)

Pauly Shore,OTOH, sets a new standard for pale, doughy ex-fratboys who really should know better. But maybe the seared corneas will get me out of my budget meeting this afternoon...

Is that Kim Kardashian as one of the aliens preparing to depart at the end of Rocky Horror Picture Show? All she needs is the Bride of Frankenstein beehive and she could be Magenta.

Wow. Jebus at the Kabbalah place. There's a joke in there somewhere...

Posted by: jaybbub | February 17, 2009 10:22 AM | Report abuse

I'm sure there are some who think Rachel Zoe is fashion forward, but I would not pay the woman wearing the outfit up top to dress me for the grocery store let alone the red carpet.

mdreader, I bow to you. Marge Simpson! Hysterical.

And BTW, which Cruise is Goofy and which is Tinkerbell?

jaybub, sounds like a new joke. "Madonna and Jesus walk into the New York Kabbalah Center...."

NOOOOO!!!! When will Madonna realize that she can't act?

I've got dibs on MJ's hyperbaric chamber. Could be useful for the Lizard Island clinic. If not perhaps Elias can figure out how to rig it into a swanky oxygen bar.

Ugh, looked at the Pauly Shore picture. If you haven't looked, DON'T. Pass the brain bleach please.

Lindsey borrowing clothes from Winona Ryder?

ep, I think actually Kim Kardashian forgot to remove it from the coathanger before putting on her jacket.

That "Rachel Zoe" thing is scaaaaaary.

Posted by: jaybbub | February 17, 2009 10:35 AM | Report abuse

Kim Kardashian is a little Buffy-Sainte-Marie-Meets-Judy-Jetson for me. Not good. Ditto on the hanger, hodie. What would Tim Gunn say?

I thought at first that the Rachel Zoe photo was Christina Applegate in a really bad mood. Then I realized it's Rachel in a good one.

That Pauly Shore pic must be something; it's blocked at my workplace.

We could debate that all day, couldn't we?

Lindsay Lohan is apparently auditioning for the title role in a movie about Minnie Pearl.
Howwwww---DEEEE!

The Pauly Shore pix are proof that people of a certain age should not pose for paps on the beach. That said, Pauly's physique looks to be about average for a 41 year-old male.

Ladies, if you've been lookin' for Jesus all your life, you now know where to find him.

Kim Kardashian finally tries to balance out her figure by enhancing her shoulder line, and look at the abuse she gets.....
Keep it coming.

Rumor has it that Kate Moss is looking through baby name lists and has settled on a name that would be appropriate to wither a boy or a girl: Crack.

Finally....for now...

When will Madonna realize that she can't act?

When Jesus tells her to stop faking orgasms.

note to td-- sorry for the botched cut and paste job. I didn't mean to repeat your last quip.

Although if they did make the musical, they could update it and have Madge scheme to steal young Wills away to the Kabbalah Center.

Kim K's shoulder pads certainly slim down her thighs.

So Deputy Dog is not going to charge Phelps or the other partiers with posession, for lack of evidence. As in, we cannot prove they were not smoking fine Turkish tobacco. As in, how stupid was the whole thing to begin with. How can you charge someone with possession of something if you do not find them in possession of something. Yep, Mr. High Sheriff, I will definitely use this experience to sit down and talk to my daughter about drugs, but mainly will talk to her about not going to college in South Carolina.

No one commented on Kim Kardashian's brass talons? Like she needs fake talons? Her real ones aren't enough. Maybe Madge can borrow her jacket when she auditions for the Wallis Simpson role. Wallis Simpson really got a bum rap. She did the UK a big favor when she lured Edward away from the throne. He was so far right during WWII, they had to stick him in Bermuda in case the Germans actually made it to England. And even though she was not evidently pure of virtue, she doesn't need to be portrayed by a ho.

Hayden Panatiere cannot form an eduring relationship at 19? Why is this news?

Posted by: reddragon1 | February 17, 2009 12:00 PM | Report abuse

I mean "enduring."

Posted by: wadejg | February 17, 2009 12:04 PM | Report abuse

None of this matters. Most of the celebs will soon die from cell-phone brain cancer...

Posted by: jezebel3 | February 17, 2009 12:21 PM | Report abuse

"Famine victim Rachel Zoe attends ... " Well, too bad it wasn't a restaurant opening. Not that anyone could force-feed that poor little starved skeleton. If she's not going to use her money for food, perhaps she should give it away to people who would.

LiLo says her weight loss isn't intentional ... yes, that may literally be true. Dramatic weight loss is an "unintentional" side effect of cocaine.

I was searching for just the right way to describe the spray on, latex like substance that covers her face.

Hey Lizards, please talk nice about Kim Kardashian's looks. It takes a lot of effort to impersonate Cher. Not to mention a lot of cosmetic surgery and make-up and wig expenses.

Posted by: sasquatchbigfoot | February 17, 2009 2:47 PM | Report abuse

John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston -- I can't tell if he's that into her. Seriously.

I know how she felt about turning 40 though...
