By Liz Kelly

Headlines: Malawi court rejects Madonna's adoption bid... Oprah Winfrey launching her own TV channel... Celebs (including Robert De Niro, Mariah Carey and Clint Eastwood) flock to South Africa for luxury hotel opening... Olsen twins's high end fashion line thriving... Heather Locklear won't be joining cast of new "Melrose Place"...
"Sex and the City" sequel due next May... One of Charlie Sheen's newborn twins remains hospitalized... Demi Moore fed up with persistent photographer (and it's not Ashton Kutcher).

Pix & Vid: Anne Hathaway basks in Valentino's glow... Beyonce kicks off world tour... Paris Hilton channels Lady GaGa... "Bruno" trailer debuts online (some NSFW moments).

Crime Watch: Man arrested after trying to force his way into Jamie Foxx's hotel room... Alleged Shawn Johnson stalker told Alabama cop of his plan.

Rumor Mill: Conservatorship will pay up if Britney Spears flakes out... Rep denies Lindsay Lohan liquid diet rumors; remains mum about funky boots... Sienna Miller and Josh Hartnett dating?... "Real Housewife" Kelly Bensimon loses Saks modeling gig... Octo-mom reconsidering offer from adult film company?

Note: Yesterday's item about "Real Housewife" Alex McCord's home being in foreclosure was apparently only an April Fool's prank. Apologies. She is, however, still unemployed and highly annoying.

Congrats to the judge in Malawi who has the guts to stand up to Madonna and her celebrity entitlement. Too bad the L.A. judges don't have the same backbone.

I can't get the Olsen Twins link to come up, which just ruins my day before it gets started.

What are those little pointy things on Sienna's shoulders?

"Lindsay has always enjoyed a Red Bull. But she eats." -- Being able to say that to a reporter must be the pinacle of a publicist's career.

Octomom -- do the porn film. America deserves you and you deserve America. And a year of nanny services from adult film stars on top of $1M and health insurance. No brainer.

Second what Buffy said re: Madge.

As for Beyonce, she's sporting the world's largest butterfly - is this just a preference issue, or is she making a point to Jay?

SATC sequel due next May; possible plot-lines include parenthood for Big and Carrie. Yawn. It was given the same release date as the upcoming Prince of Persia movie - I'll be over in Theater 2 with Jake Gyllenhaal and his scimitar.

"Jake Gyllenhaal and his scimitar."

I thought this was a Family Blog?

So, Madonna can't buy another kid. If she cares so much, why doesn't she just sponsor the girl's family?

The South Africa headline should have read "Celebs get paid to attend luxury hotel opening".

And, on a more positive note: Friday love to The Swayze!

Sorry if I offended, Duffman.

I want to like Sienna's dress but the pointy tips and 3/4 sleeves are stopping me.

I think when Kimberly took off her wig and revealed the scar, Melrose had done all it could do.

Octo-boobs? We are reaching new lows...

Which country will be Madonna's next stop on her 2009 Adopt-O-Mania World Tour?

Beyonce in a trapeze? Scrumptious!

Perhaps Beyonce's people can help Octopu$$y stage her upcoming adult film

Posted by: sasquatchbigfoot | April 3, 2009 10:15 AM | Report abuse

The working title for the upcoming SATC movie:

Metropolitan Menopause

I can see why the cop let the Shawn Johnson stalker go. He looks just like all the other telepathic wanna-be child molesters than get stopped.

Rumor mill correction "Conservatorship will pay up WHEN Britney Spears flakes out."

Liz, re yesterday, please do not use "Britney Spears" and "trick" in the same sentence again. That is so type-casting.

I figured Sienna was modeling and getting an award for Best Costume in a Science Fiction Series or Movie.

Olsen Twinz: You're line is nothing until Michelle Obama wears it.

SATC: I'm watching the sequel right now. It think the title is Real Housewives of New York City.

LiLo: I think the liquid diet marks some progress. Wasn't she previously on a powdered diet?

Oprah: The folks at EW must be on the same diet as Lindsay Lohan. "If millions of American women begin flocking to OWN, we could see other networks loading up their slates with 'inspirational' shows to try and compete." It seems as if they have forgotten that millions of American men watch TV. There are 116 versions of CSI. There's one one Extreme Home Makeover.

I just think Beyonce has the worst taste!! She is a beautiful woman, and her clothes are a joke. It pains me...what is that chastity belt thing she has on?

Also don't like Sienna Miller's weird dress, but she gets a pass because she usually looks good.

Posted by: msame | April 3, 2009 11:29 AM | Report abuse

"Liquid diet"?!!? How 'bout "white powder diet"?

I can't stand Sienna Miller, but the girl's got style.

"Which country will be Madonna's next stop on her 2009 Adopt-O-Mania World Tour?" Well, we hear India's the next stop on Brangelina's 2009 Adopt-O-Mania World Tour. Madge might want to tag along.

Article forgot to say that the Olsen twins clothing line is found exclusively at Goodwill thrift shops.

Posted by: hodie | April 3, 2009 1:16 PM | Report abuse

rashibama: you're not missing anything on the Olsen's story at all. Although I must say that they are doing everyone a real favor in these dreadful economic times...nothing will go for more than $1000. So thoughful.....Apparently they think they will be the next Donna Karan's of the world....

If I were that little girl who Madonna tried to adopt, I would be seriously angry that, instead of me being able to live such a glamorous life, I was held back in Malawi due to bureaucratic nothingness.

If I were the child, I would want to live with Madonna!
