From Cougars to Cruise: Hollywood's Ageless Love

Intergenerational sweethearts Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. (Reuters) The latest dish making its way through the rumor mill is word that Natalie Portman, 27, and Sean Penn, 48, may be dating (although the reality may only be that the two were spotted within 20 yards of each other by an enterprising gossip spouter). So (ignoring the fact that there could be some infidelity involved) would it be so wrong for the two -- whose ages differ by more than two decades -- to strike up a romance? Below a look at how some other age-defying couples have fared: Demi Moore (46) and Ashton Kutcher (31) Age Difference: 15 years Status: Married and Twitteringly happy. Tom Cruise (46) and Katie Holmes (30) Difference in age: 16 years Status: Rumors have circulated lately claiming Holmes may be seeking a separation, but the two appear to be happy and united in love...

In which Jen Chaney and I wade through time and space to bring you our final show analysis of the season. Read, digest, add your thoughts -- then join us at 3 p.m. ET for the "Lost" Hour live chat. Hungry for more? Visit "Lost" Central. What lies in the shadow of the statue? Jacob (Mark Pellegrino). (ABC) Jen: Liz, I have to be honest. I don't know where to start. When the island maybe blew up at the end of the episode, my brain sort of exploded with it. I don't know what to think going into the final season. But let's focus on the things we learned. We learned that Vincent is alive and well, as are Rose and Bernard. (Bernard looked tanned, rested and a lot like Charlton Heston in "The Ten Commandments.") We learned that Jacob is a lot like the old woman who lived...

'Lost' Countdown -- Gearing Up for the Finale

John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) heads out in search of Jacob. (ABC) Depending on when you're reading this, tonight's "Lost" season five finale is hours/minutes/seconds away. Here are a few options depending on how much time you have: Hours to go? Read today's Style section Q&A with "Lost" gods show runners Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, then settle in to listen to the entire 30-minute plus interview captured on audio. What will you hear in that audio? Lindelof addressing rumors about his and J.J. Abrams's "Dark Tower" adaptation, Jen getting schooled in the ways of asking true-false questions (she was feeling a little dyslexic that day) and, finally, an answer to the question, "Ben Linus: A little bit good or entirely bad?" (Okay, a sort of answer to that question.) Join Jen Chaney and Liz Kelly on Wed., May 13 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Adams Morgan's The Reef...

Eye Acid: Heidi Montag Pratt's 'Black Out' Video

If you've been waiting for the latest salvo in Heidi Montag's Pratt's fledgling music career, the wait is over. Turns out she and brand-new husband Spencer Pratt were actually productive while locked down at their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas (for fear of coming into contact with Swine flu and/or zombies). And let's all take a second to thank them for it. Because it is hard proof that there is someone on the earth more self-involved and less talented than Paris Hilton. It seems to have been shot with a point-and-shoot (likely by Pratt) and no effort has been made to sync up the audio with Heidi's half-hearted singing/writhing. Have a look, then share the first word(s) that pop into your mind below: Mine: Worst video ever....

Miss California's Battling Demons -- Her Own

Update: Donald Trump says Carrie Prejean will retain the title of Miss California and remain the first-runner up in the Miss USA pageant. -- 11:17 a.m. ET --- The self-possessed Carrie Prejean. (AP) This morning we'll learn whether or not Carrie Prejean, aka Miss California, will be able to retain the title of Miss California. And, just in time, we've learned that Satan could be at the bottom of the kerfuffle. For those who may have been paying attention to other news for the past week or so, Prejean is the Miss USA runner-up who told pageant judge and blogger Perez Hilton that she is against same-sex marriage. Her 15 minutes have been stretched a bit, though, by aftershocks including a possibly prohibited affiliation with the National Organization for Marriage, a boob job paid for by the pageant organization and nude pictures that surfaced online last week (and today). This...

Getting Game at the Correspondents' Dinner

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore -- sadly, not my newest Twitter pals. (AP) It was great idea that never got off the ground. Saturday night, Jen Chaney and I schlepped down to the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner to rub shoulders with celebs and find out what it would be like to be in a mosh pit with Newt Gingrich, Al Sharpton, John McLaughlin and the rest of the non-glam types that turned up to gawk at said celebs. Hoping to childishly entertain ourselves at what can be a gruelingly (and droolingly) long event, we decided to make things more interesting by crafting lists -- which we traded -- of semi-humiliating tasks for each other to accomplish involving specific celebrities. Unfortunately we were sidetracked by, ummm, doing our actual jobs and the lists were summarily forgotten until the end of the night. I reprint them here today in an...

Video: Celebs Descend on White House Correspondents' Dinner

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Sting and Trudie Styler, Glenn Close, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Mariska Hargitay, Duane "The Rock" Johnson, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and at least two "Gossip Girl" cast members (and many more). The last time D.C. saw this many stars was... less than four months ago when many of the same names jetted to D.C. to take part in inaugural events. Still, there's something endearing about watching bona fide journalists go ga-ga over the celebrities packed every bit as sardine-like with them in the bowels of the Washington Hilton for the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner. Last night Jen Chaney and I pushed our way through the overheated hallways of the hotel to bring you the fine piece of video journalism below -- including interviews with Jason Bateman, David Cross, Jon Bon Jovi and Kyle MacLachlan: A few...
