List: The least-trustworthy celebs in America

By Liz Kelly

Yesterday, I asked you to nominate celebs who you consider the most irresponsible, untrustworthy, morally reprehensible and examples of humanity at its nadir. Based on your submissions and my celebritological expertise, we've arrived at the list below.

1. Tiger Woods: Cheated on wife Elin Nordegren with up to 19 different women.

2. Roman Polanski: Cooling his heels in Switzerland awaiting possible extradition to the U.S. to face decades-old rape charges.

3. Jay Leno: Just ask Conan O'Brien.

4. Courtney Love: Recently lost custody of 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean and, despite a judge's admonition to keep off Twitter, she's back!

5. Kanye West: Can't be trusted at awards ceremonies after last year's VMA outburst.

6. Heidi Montag: Do we even know if that's still her?

7. John Mayer: Not content with breaking Jennifer Aniston's heart, he's now set his sights on Taylor Swift.

8. Jon Gosselin: The list of transgressions is long (fertility no-nos, bad parenting, bad boyfriend), but we'll list him for his inability to dress himself.

9. Charlie Sheen: Let's just say he's not the kind of guy you want around the house at Christmas.

10. Tila Tequila: The only constant about this reality show spawn turned Twitter addict? She's annoying.

Anyone else see a trend of creepiness and trashiness?

Take heart, America: we can still trust Wilfred Brimley.

Complaining about a celeb's tweets and then posting a link to them. Stay classy, Post.

Leno but not Letterman? Polanski but not O.J.? Speaking of Roman, I'm having a little difficulty seeing him and Jon Gosselin on the same list. Seems off to me.

The irony on Jon Gosselin's shirt "death before dishonor".......

Have we forgotten John Edwards already?

Ryan O'Neal - hitting on Tatum at Farrah Fawcett's funeral, partying with Redmond, attempting to shoot Griffin for taking Redmond in . . . . the list goes on and on.

Well, Roman Polanski isn't exactly IN America, is he? Which is kind of part of the problem with him.

And just to quibble some more, shouldn't it really be Zucker who is the untrustworthy one at NBC, not Leno?

I also assume His Miserableness Gary Coleman came up just short of making the list?

What happened to Amy Winehouse and Jeremy Piven?

I take issue with Tiger Woods outranking Roman Polanski. It sure shows you're a sucky person to serially cheat on your wife, but last time I checked, adultery wasn't actually a felony and Tiger fled only as far as sex rehab clinic, not to a country with no extradition treaties to the U.S.

I take full credit for Jay Leno, as I was the only one who had him on my list. When can I expect my royalty check?

so many eligible people, so few spots.
las100 is right. john edwards should be on that list. the creepiest of the creeps.
and w/tiger, far more than 19 women. that's all that we know about. there's another gal in england who supposedly got paid $$$$$$ to keep quiet. many more out there.
amy winehouse doesn't belong. it's not skankiest celebs, it's least trustworthy. and tiger belongs.

frieda, breaking news today is that Elizabeth Edwards has formally separated from John.

I would've put Charlie Sheen at the top long before Tiger. Neither are choirboys, but Charlie Sheen physically abuses women and pulled a knife on his most recent wife. His ex says she was terrified of him. Yet ... people still watch that laughter-in-a-can, not funny show of his, and sponsors still sponsor him.

John Edwards, wife separate
just saw the headline, nosy. thanks.

i don't. can't stand the show or sheen. what a group. cryer's wife, it's been alleged, hired a hit man to off him. and then sheen is a serial abuser of women. nice.

Posted by: frieda406 | January 27, 2010 5:38 PM | Report abuse

Well, to be fair, it's hardly Cryer's fault that his wife hired a hit man.

Kinda surprised Kanye's on there. He may be a dbag, but that's a far cry from not trusting him.

Can I add the entrie Kardashin clan?

Yeah, I also find it weird that Tiger Woods outranks Roman "13 is a tricky age" Polanski, and Charlie "I will cut you" Sheen. He's a big man-ho, not violent or predatory.

Posted by: dkp01 | January 28, 2010 1:07 PM | Report abuse

Disgusting! Roman Polanski behind Tiger Woods.. you must be kidding... a rapist of a young teen over a guy who screwed some women other than his wife? By the way, I don't believe it was 19 women-- gotta see proof of that. Some of those skanks may be lying just because. A man is so much more trustworthy if he ONLY screws 3 or 4 women other than his wife... whatever! Jay Leno should not be on the list at all. You might as well put most Hollywood execs, politicians and lawyers on the list in regards to business deals-- just put corporate America on this list.
