"I write a lot of dirty text messages to girls, and you've never seen any of them. Why? Because if a girl brought a dirty text message from me to the newspapers, they'd say 'I don't have an angle here. Someone wants to wear your a** like a hat? Big deal." -- John Mayer, explaining why he's not afraid to sext.

"Brittany Murphy's husband seeking $1,000 donations to attend event honoring late wife." The only way this could be less classy is if the G-note allowed you to do it with her corpse.

When can I enrol in the Diddy Business Academy For Children Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too?

"Nude photos of "Jersey Shore's" Snooki up for sale." As disgusting as this is, paying a grand to nail Brittany Murphy is still (marginally) more disgusting.

One thing that remains unclear after his interview is where Mel Gibson places being an "***hole" on the whole drunk - anti-Semite - philanderer - adulterer spectrum.

"Mackenzie Phillips now says sex with dad was not consensual":

This is not a matter of changing her account of the actual events, just recognizing her father's abuse was more than solely physical. The article goes on to state that Mackenzie "learned from other incest survivors that her use of the word 'consensual' is incorrect. Due to inherent parental power, sex between a parent and a child is never "consensual" on the child's part."

John Mayer
"...if a girl brought a dirty text message from me to the newspapers, they'd say 'I don't have an angle here."

He overestimates the tabloids at his own peril. Sort of like Gary Hart challenging the press to follow him, so they did.

Brittany Murphy's husband seeking $1,000 donations to attend event honoring late wife.

While the article goes on to state that the event is being held to spearhead a foundation "dedicated to arts education for children" (a noble endeavo, in principle) that he founded with $1 million of his own, there's still something a bit skeevy-sounding here. Maybe it's just too soon?

Madonna 'dumped by toyboy lover Jesus Luz because they had nothing in common.'

Perhaps it was more like a minor becoming emancipated from an incestuous parent.

John Mayer, be very careful, or the tabloid press will make an a**hat out of you.

Mackenzie Phillips, maybe it's therapeutic for you to over-share, but couldn't you just write a private, password protected blog? (You know, like everybody else who's either in therapy for something, or should be.) Do you really have to issue press releases?

Brittney Murphy's husband sounds like a slimeball who has been dipped in scum and dusted with sleaze powder. Maybe Diddy is looking for a business partner (or an academic dean) for his new school?

Ryan Seacrest stalker pleads not guilty. Yeah, I wouldn't confess to that either.

Madonna dumped by Jesus. Kids, they're always such ingrates.

If I got a text that someone wanted to wear my "a** like a hat" I'd be worried that I was dating Ed Gein, not John Mayer.

How about the Prince who wished he was a tampon?

The ick nast factor is pretty high today - Mackenzie Phillips, Brittany Murphy's creepy husband, anything having to do with Madonna, John Mayer, and a naked Jersey Shore loser. I need a shower.

"Kanye West pitches a fit to get better seats on cross-country flight."

Was Taylor Swift in first class?

Seriously, has nobody in his entourage ever heard of SeatGuru? I suspect he was just scamming a seat in first for the price of business. Poor baby having to sit in only the semi-luxurious barcalounger seats instead of on the galley slave benches like the rest of us.

Welcome to Sesame Street, boys and girls. Today's letter is the letter A, which stands for:

-- Adopt: What, in a yet-undiscovered space/time continuum, would allow Kristin Chenoweth to save Mackenzie Phillips from her relationship with her father.

-- Aniston: Self-piteous celebrity who doth protest too much (n.) or To promote oneself endlessly as a martyr (v.).

-- A**hat: What John Mayer both is and wants from the right (OK, any) girl.

-- A**hole: What Mel Gibson says when he's not being one in general.

"But his mother, who is 14 years younger than the Material Girl singer, did not approve of the relationship."

It's one thing if you're dating a man who is young enough to be your son. It's quite another when he's young enough to be your grandson.

"If a girl brought a dirty text message from me to the newspapers, they'd say 'I don't have an angle here. Someone wants to wear your a** like a hat? Big deal." -John Mayer

So you're saying that not only are your dirty text messages ubiquitous, they're also poorly written.

Did anyone else spot Meryl Streep's daughter guesting on "The Good Wife" last night? Seems like a pretty good actress, given how much she has to live up to.

You stay classy, John Mayer!

Mackenzie, it is possible to have an unexpressed thought.

Brittany Murphy's husband has redefined skeeviness.

Of course a dirty text from John Mayer is not news. It's like dog bites man. The news would be if he didn't sext.

It's definitely an ick-nastic day in Celebrity-Land.

"Kristin Chenoweth wants to adopt Haitian orphan..."
Haven't those poor Haitians suffered enough?

Flight Attendant: "Yo, Mr. West, I'mma let you finish your rant about our Business Class accommodations. And then I'mma call the air marshall to arrest your a$$."

Mackenzie, it is possible to have an unexpressed thought.

I'm thinking that her openness may be helping other people who as children were abused by a family member to recognize that what they experienced really was abuse, as well as not their own fault.
