Poor Sandy.

Doesn't sound too good for Bret Michaels. Friday love early.

Too bad Peter Jackson wasn't knighted early enough to protect Justin Bieber's mother. I actually didn't know New Zealand had knights. Does Jackson live at Helms Deep now?

Did Gwynnie bulk up so she could put the moves on Morton Downey Jr.? FWIW, I still think he's braggin'. Since I'm not a Gwynnie fan, I'm not sure about what.

We should bring back Seinfeld for a one-off special on the bike accident.

We need a pool as to who (whom?) the gay celeb is.

I'm guessing Kelly's bio of Oprah will be just as fact-filled as her bio of Sinatra.

Glee is consistently good. Sure it won't be around long...

I totally blew past the item on Cattrall as an out-of-shape porn star. I might even watch that as soon as the DVD comes out.

Kim Cattral plays out of shape porn star. Typecasting alert.

Courtney, your drug addled fantasies don't count as actual affairs.

Too bad Sandra won't seek custody of all the kids. She's the only sane parent in the bunch.

reddragon - they already did this, only the boy on the bike was portrayed by a squirrel...

Great. Another reason for me to hate Twilight. Because antique jewelry is my hobby (after interning in the Gemology department of Natural History), and that ugly thing is nowhere near Victorian. (Much like her books aren't Victorian either.)

But now legions of crazed fans are going to talk about their "Victorian" jewelry. Fabulous.

Kim Catrall gained 15 pounds to play out-of-shape porn star.

I could do that (gain 15 pounds, that is, not the other part).

Naya Rivera and Heather Morris (Santana and Brittany) to become regulars on "Glee."

Great! I enjoy the comic relief of their nonsequiturs. They're sort of the Marc and Becky of "Glee."

Tim Burton MoMA exhibit draws third-largest attendance in museum's history.

Gay celeb to come out on cover of People's May 5 issue?

Ironically, the celeb publicist masterminding this event also represents Isaiah Washington, among other clients.

yellojkt (and others), did you see this article on "Big Bang Theory" yet?

Wouldn't it more effectively prove the Bobby Brown death-rumors false if *he* and not a publicist denied them?

My 7-year-old desperately wants Prince of Persia Legos. He has no idea that there's a movie or what a Jake Gyllenhall is, he just wants the Legos that he sees in his catalog.

Completely unrelated to anything in today's morning mix and blatantly name-dropping, but I spent yesterday afternoon on the Hill photographing Harrison Ford! I'm still getting used to the white hair, but nonetheless he's my all time biggest crush! We will now return to your regularly scheduled snarking. :)

$10?!?!!? Mr. Gosselin, at $10 a shot, I could get a single malt.

Figures that he'd be appearing at the Green Turd...err... Turtle. Mount St. Mary's must be desperate. I take it that Mel Gibson was not available.

The Green Turd should be billing Gosselin's appearance as Unhappy Hour.

$10 a shot is probably the best that Jon Gosselin could hope for from a local sperm bank.

ok, this is off topic, but the guy is known because he's a governor of a large state. my burning question is: who goes jogging w/a gun? he shot and killed a coyote while out jogging. is that normal?

Posted by: frieda406 | April 28, 2010 10:58 AM | Report abuse

Talley! You rock! I'm totally jealous. Except, was he wearing the earring? 'Cause I can't really get with that. Otherwise he's perfection, at any age.

A lego Jake Gyllenhall would have a better chance of winning an Academy Award...

Love to Sandra Bullock and congrats on the arrival of your son! I hope you have all kinds of happiness with him.

I agree, not so good for Brett Michaels. And will people give up on blaming this on last June's minor head bump? It is so unlikely this would be the cause. More likely do to microangiopathic disease related to his long standing diabetes and other comorbid conditions. Still, he may pull through but we're talking months for recovery. Someone tell the Donald.

My bet is John Gosselin doesn't make enough to cover his tab.

A belated congrats to Sandra Bullock on the adoption of her son.

So how does lithe little Gwinnie gain 10lbs of muscle when all she eats is sticks and twigs?

Did George forget his booster seat again? Sometimes its hard to see over that dash.

Love the Santana and Brittney characters on Glee!
Schuester: We guys need to learn not to be so misogynistic.
Brittney: I pulled my hamstring once and went to a misogynist.

How much "acting" does Kim Catrall really need to do for that part?

Posted by: MStreet1 | April 28, 2010 11:57 AM | Report abuse

jaybub-Yeah, he was wearing the earring. I know, not my favorite, either.

Posted by: talleyl | April 28, 2010 12:20 PM | Report abuse

Frieda, for Texas, yes that is normal. And a darn good thing he was too. The coyote was going for the family's golden retriever puppy.

Chasmosaur -

Welcome to the I Hate Twilight Club. You're right -- those books aren't Victorian, they're just misogynistic crap (and poorly written, too).

However, I did have a momentary wonderful though which was -- wouldn't it be JUST FANTASTIC if the gay celebrity coming out on May 5 was Rob Pattinson? That would make my day, for sure. Much more than another "yeah, so what else is new? reveal like Sean Hayes, etc.."

DCLocal:

Oh, I've BEEN a member of the I Hate Twilight Club. It's caused a wee bit of a rift between me and my neighbors - adult women who all think the books are romantic. Since I had a stalker in my youth, I don't see anything romantic about it, and it still stuns me that two women who have English degrees think they're well-written books ;)

But yes, I would laugh until I couldn't breathe if Robert Pattinson came out of the closet. Because I don't really care one way or the other, but so many people are invested in him being the most gorgeous, sparkly, beautiful, sparkly, spectacularly sparkliest boy EVER!!!!!!

Okay, it's not like I know Sandy personally or anything, but I feel for her. What did she ever do to deserve being duped so badly by that d*mned Jesse James? I just cringe now reading about her talking so glowingly of her blessings and how happy she was, totally innocent to her husband's stabbing her in the back.

And now back to the regularly scheduled snark. Is Jesse James short? He looks it in those photos. It would explain a lot.

Oh-kay, could anything be more pathetic than Jon Gosselin's latest publicity wh*ring stunt? Desperation is the worst cologne ...

One look at that Tito Ortiz dude and I think "roid rage". Yikes.

The "Issues" tv show on Headline News channel is saying they will have news regarding Sandra's new bambino tonight on the show.

Count me among the most vehement chapter of the IHATETWILIGHT club. It wasn't enough to make a teenage girl character sullen and stupid (hello, I'll get my boyfriend back if I risk my life doing stupid sh!*), SM had to make her a complete klutz, in constant need of rescue by the two boys in her life and obsessive about her love life to the exclusion of all normal activities and friendships. Just great. Way to set girls' images of themselves back 40 years. Oh for the days of Buffy.

Hey, that separate Bullock post is verging on a BKD!

ok, I have no snark. My money is on the "star" for next week's People cover being David Archuleta. Last week he was caught coming out of a gay club or something?

oh, and about Jon Gosselin: I guess you should have kept that "real job" thing. I'm thinking you might make $30 tops....I hope he scores beer at happy hour prices...(oh, btw - does he know the bartender won't pay him for signing your credit card tab.)

sorcerors_cat:

I went to the second movie with my friends and their daughters. I came out asking if Bella ever drove herself anywhere, since she spent most of the movie in the passenger seat of her own car. Because, you know, she obviously couldn't drive the car herself.

The only person who laughed was one of the daughters - a teenager I adore for many reasons, but a big part of it is she doesn't like Twilight either, but realizes that she needs to be conversant in it because of her friends...
