Fashion statement: Jersey girl Teresa Guidice's red carpet look

By Liz Kelly

What do Jersey girls do when they aren't busy trashing each other or pushing their elementary-aged daughters on to Fashion Week runways? Well, in the case of Teresa Guidice -- one of the foul-mouthed "Real Housewives of New Jersey" who will forever be known for coining the phrase "prostitution whore" and had already struck a major blow at the image of Garden State girls a full year ahead of "Jersey Shore's" Snooki and J-Woww -- one apparently pens superfluous cookbooks and strikes awkward doll-like red carpet poses.

Anyone who watches the Jersey-based edition of the "Housewives" franchise is familiar with Guidice's over-the-top bordello of a home, muscle-bound grunting husband and penchant for dressing her tiny daughters like mini-strumpets. So it should come as no surprise that the Franklin Lakes mom showed up for a NBC Universal event wearing what appears to be a too-small negligee (seriously, the girls are in mortal danger of spillage) apparently rendered street-wearable by the addition of thick black leggings and a radioactive fake bake.

I was tempted to vote "alright with us guys," but growing up in North St. Louis County, which was about as close as you could get to New Jersey and still be west of the Mississippi, even I had to go with "too tacky." Maybe she is trying to illustrate the phrase she coined. Repetition is a legitimate form of emphasis.

I am thankful that it's the Jersey girls and guys who have captured the imagination the world. It coulda been us Lawn Guylanders.

She's so special....ed. I hate myself for noticing this, but she and Caroline were sitting behind Gilles Marini (sp?) at the DWTS Results Show on Tuesday. Going to go beat myself up, now.

Not wanting to insult Sicilians or Sicilian call girls, I went with Goth-Bimbo At Its Best (or GoBAIB)

I have it on good authority that Sicillian call girls have more class.

At considerable risk, I'll say Sicilian (call) girls are the Orginal Goth-Bimbos.

I'm trying to decide if the outfit is too young for her, or if she really is that rode hard and put away wet, or if the outfit just emphasizes the latter.

Dorkus, you're a Marine?

Kbockl, the only difference between New Jersey and Long Island is Staten Island. And I'm pretty sure the FBI considers it all just one big happy family. Of course, I'm from the Bronx, so...

I've never seen a single episode or kept up with/cared about this show or its women. That said, this woman (don't know if she's good or bad) is seriously FUG.

she has no forehead.

So she coined the phrase "pr0$tituti0n wh0re." Talk about a retronym! Should we infer it's as opposed to "volunteer wh0re" or "amateur wh0re" or "philanthropic wh0re"?

Nosy, spent years looking for the philanthropic kind. Never seemed to work out.
