LiLo reports for jail - only this time, instead of "F*** U" painted on her fingernails, she's got a map out of the jail painted on her toes.

"Robert Shapiro is no longer representing Lohan" - or, in his words, "Enough of this s***. I must, uh, quit."

"Jersey Shore" cast members prove that "an overinflated sense of self can lead to financial success." Don't look too closely, but that's the assumption underlying the entire American financial system.

"Jennifer Aniston goes topless to promote new perfume." I'm sure the ad is tastefully done and men will be flocking to K-Mart to buy it, but I am not sure wives and girlfriends will want a fragrance that their men think is called "Rachel's Motorboat."

"Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are not doing reality show." They have completely refudiated that rumor.

"Larry Charles to direct Jim Carrey in "Pierre Pierre," a comedy about an obnoxious Frenchman." You had me at 'Larry Charles.' Unfortunately, you lost me at 'Jim Carrey,' then blew up all the roads in a 60-mile radius with the rest of the sentence.

Honey, just because Mel refused to pay you does not make it abuse.

So throwing temper tantrums gets you a raise on MTV. For LiLo it got her 90 days in the hoosegow.

Fascinating list of LiLo's occupations.

Sandra Bullock renews restraining order against alleged stalker...I had wondered why I hadn't seen yellojkt in Austin as of late.

Robert Shapiro is no longer representing Lohan ...Qick ep get in on that while you still can!

You know, I'm pretty sure anyone who sat through What Women Want has had an abusive relationship with Mel.

Jim Carrey playing an obnoxious character? That's some truly inspired casting there.

"Celebritology" makes "Hollywood Reporter" this AM. From "And now, you may know the rest of the story":
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/07/19/AR2010071904821.html

"...[Former John Edwards aide Andrew Young] recalled with amusement that at least one blog suggested Young himself be played by "Mad Men" hunk Jon Hamm. "I said, 'I think that guy should be very insulted,'" he joked. (The Washington Post blog Celebritology offered that casting last week.)..."

"Jennifer Aniston goes topless to promote new perfume" -- Desperado. Why don't you come to your scents-es?

"Zsa Zsa Gabor recovering after successful hip replacement surgery" -- Good thing, too, otherwise that surgeon was going to get a heck of a slap from her.

"Another woman claims to have had 'abusive' relationship with Mel Gibson" -- But enough about Helen Hunt and the rest of the entire cast and crew of "What Women Want." The audience felt abused by him there also.

"Amy Adams to take on Janis Joplin" -- She's been growing her hair for WEEKS.

"Daniel Radcliffe to star in horror film, 'The Woman in Black'" -- It's kinda like a companion film to the Harry Potter stuff. Sirius Black decides he'd rather be a girl dog, you see, so with the help of a potion from Snape he loses his wand and....

Dorkus, sorry to replicate your "What Women Want" comment. Must've subconsiously seen that before I posted. (What a bad movie, though.)

Posted by: td_in_baltimore | July 20, 2010 9:51 AM | Report abuse

td, don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure that just speaks to how terribly bad that movie was.

"Journalist at press conference asks M. Night Shyamalan why his career has taken a nosedive" - Would it have anything to do with a string of crappy movies? I see dead careers.

I have no connection whatsoever to the following, but this local theater review in today's paper brightened my morning; presumably the writing style is intended to evoke the tone of the play.

Dorkus,
Austin just isn't the same since they put the metal detectors at the Capitol Building.

I thot Robt Shapiro only represented Lilo in my imagination. I don't think either one of them actually said he did.

"Jennifer Anniston goes topless" This can't possibly come off well.

yellojkt, don't worry, in you bring your concealed handgun with you, you can bypass the metal detectors.

By the numbers,

1. 'bout darn time
2. Sharpio? I don't think Clarence Darrow could get LiLo off at this point. Or Gregory Peck.
3. Pop Quiz, what movie or play did this song snippet come from? Money makes the world go around, the world go around.
4. Ok
5. What? don't remember that one.
6. Darling!
7. Jaw problems comes from eating too much Grape Nuts
8. Hope I hid that blindfold from Mrs. Howe better this time. Everytime a pix of Scarjo...uh, nevermind
9. zzzz
10.more zzzz
11. Why would they need a reality show when we already don't want to know how this one ends?
12. ok
13. WIB, are they gonna' clone and transgender Will Smith?
14. Hurrmmphmmmpppffff. No one can do Janis like Janis. Get it while you can!
15. Carrey is scary!
16. huh?
17. Hey! Say What. Mrs. Howe just learned how to set the clock on the VCR!
18. uh, I lost count.

2. Where's F. Lee Bailey when LiLo needs him? Or Johnnie Cochrane? Six feet under.
3. "Cabaret"
6. Dahhh-link!
14. I'd have thought maybe Crystal Bowersox, or Joss Stone. Anyone else remember how blandly Faith Hill mauled "Piece of My Heart"? Let's hope Amy lip-synchs to Pearl.

#2 I would have said William Jennings Bryant but he won his case!

#2 But the trial basically killed WJB, and nowadays evolution is taught in science classes, notwithstanding. So talk about a Pyrrhic victory

Another take on Mel, by Christopher Hitchens (not everyone's cuppa, I realize).

Amy Adams as Janis Joplin? I can't see that even in my wildest dreams.
My favorite Janis Joplin is Jenna Maroney from 30 Rock playing Jackie Jomp-Jomp. Now that's some actin'.

..."Proving that fake tans and an overinflated sense of self can lead to financial success" -- Absolutely, that is the driving force behind much of Southern California's "successful" (by their own definition, anyway) people.

And their tans ain't the only things that are fake.

... Larry Charles to direct Jim Carrey in "Pierre Pierre," a comedy about an obnoxious Frenchman . . .
The oxymoronoic qualities inherent in juxtaposing "comic" with French anything, not to mention with Jim Carrey, have just caused my head to explode.

One night while Lindsay will be trying to get some sleep, inhaling dry soap flakes she’ll look at her reflection against the window bars and promise herself one day she’s really give us the award performance she always meant to give.
God bless you silly little fool…

As an unabashed francophile, I'm really sad about this stupid movie. Just what we need, more ammunition for people to say horrible things about France.

Anyone but me watching the Tour? The scenery is to die for.

td--this was brilliant:

"Jennifer Aniston goes topless to promote new perfume" -- Desperado. Why don't you come to your scents-es?

We hope that Lindsay Lohan gets into the right treatment program asap. Addiction is a band-aid or a mask to hide a problem that a person may not want to address (even if it starts out as partying or from an injury), but the sooner they can get help, the better. While in treatment, they can focus completely on themselves, identify the core issues that lead to their addictions, and begin the healing process.

And the longer a person can stay in treatment, they increase their chances of living a sober life (which is why Journey Healing Centers offers free Aftercare for Life so there is continuous support from a professional team). If you have any drug or alcohol addiction questions or want to get someone help, call our Free 24 hour hotline to speak with an Addiction Specialist: 1-866-774-5119
