Celebrities come together for tonight's 'Stand Up To Cancer' telethon

More than 100 celebrities will join together tonight for the "Stand Up To Cancer" telethon. The hour-long fundraising event will be be simulcast by ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and some cable channels commercial-free. News anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams will host. Stevie Wonder, Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Ray Liotta and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong are just a few of the big names who will participate in tonight's telethon. Michael Douglas and Maura Tierney, who are current battling cancer, will also attend. Donations will go to collaborative cancer research.

Cancer has been a big part of my family's life this past year. Community, family and the medical world must combine to support the patient and their family. I 'll be watching tonight! Thanks for the great article!
