Charges dismissed in John Travolta extortion case; Paris Hilton spends Labor Day in Hawaii; Kara DioGuardi leaves 'American Idol'

Celebrity Beat: Charges were dismissed Monday against two people accused of trying to extort money from John Travolta after the actor decided not to testify in the retrial stemming from the death of his 16-year-old son in the Bahamas; "The Travolta family has said that this matter has caused them unbelievable stress and pain and they wish to put this whole thing behind them," prosecutor Neil Braithwaite said; Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are expecting a baby... Jessica Simpson commemorates the one-year anniversary of her Maltipoo's death via Twitter... If you want see British singer Lily Allen's baby bump, have at it... Felony schmelony! Paris Hilton spends Labor Day in Hawaii, according to this grocery store photo and a Twitpic of Hilton in Maui. At least this Twitter picture isn't possibly incriminating...Kanye West takes to Twitter to apologize to Taylor Swift for VMA incident; "I wish I could talk to every hater face to face and change there a opinion of me one conversation at a time," West tweeted...
