Conan O'Brien's TBS show to be called ... 'Conan'
Conan O'Brien's triumphant return to television finally has a name, and it's ... "Conan."
Yes, as Mr. O'Brien reveals in the video below, he's following the "keep it simple, stupid" model and going with "Conan" as the name of his TBS show, which debuts in November. No word on whether, as The Hollywood Reporter contends, this name violates a trademark owned by Conan Properties. Hopefully it doesn't. The last thing O'Brien needs is legal trouble. (Update: the Post's Lisa de Moraes also shared this news and suggests the name has been cleared for use.)

The name is exactly what people will call it anyway. "Who's on Conan tonight?" Perfect.

For THIS we needed a big "announcement?"
