Greg Giraldo tributes keep coming; Lindsay Lohan at Betty Ford Clinic

By Liz Kelly

Three celeb-centric stories on our radar this afternoon...

1. Tributes for Greg Giraldo, who died Wednesday as the result of an accidental overdose, continue to flood the Web. He remains a trending topic on Twitter, and comics, including Denis Leary, Daniel Tosh and Aziz Ansari have added their tweets to the memorials. Jon Stewart's "Daily Show" was able to scramble yesterday afternoon to include a nice bit of eulogizing from Stewart, and the usual show-ending "Moment of Zen" was replaced with a "Moment of Greg":

2. Lindsay Lohan is rehabbing at the celeb-friendly Betty Ford Clinic, according to Here's hoping the fifth time is the charm. Meanwhile, father Michael -- who yesterday berated ex-wife Dina for attempting to establish a conservatorship over Lilo -- is himself working to establish a conservatorship. "Dina and [manager Lou Taylor] have their hands in it, not their hearts," said Lohan. Meanwhile, another Lohan -- brother Daniel -- is perhaps speaking the most sense we've heard from a Lohan since Dina proclaimed herself "White Oprah." "People she was surrounded by," said Daniel in an interview with People, "enablers, leeches, whatever you'd like to call it -- made things very difficult." [TMZ, E! Online, People]

3. Paris Hilton boyfriend Cy Waits apparently ran over the foot of an overeager paparazzo Wednesday night. The couple left the scene of the accident because, according to Waits, he didn't realize he'd hit someone until a friend texted him with the news. So he returned and was either cited or slapped with a citizen's arrest by the injured pap. [TMZ]

Bonus: "Mad Men's" Vincent Kartheiser parties down with Minnesotans. This is SO something Pete Campbell would not do.

Can someone tell me what an "accidental" overdose is? I'm guessing he took the drugs intentionally but miscalculated somehow and ended up dead. That's not an "accident," it's a foreseeable result of drug abuse. I liked Greg G as a comedian and it's a shame he's gone, but it wasn't an accident.

RE: To ikeaboy...Accidental overdose doesn't usually mean "intentional" it can mean that he took his prescribed medication with another type of prescription or over the counter medication that was not suppose to be taken together....get your facts straight before questioning and posted something first.

The paparazzo's foot getting ran over is hilarious. The overly zealous idiot only has himself to blame. Dummies foot should not have been underneath the tire. Next he'll be insisting on hazard pay when he goes out snooping and invading people's lives.

Ikaboy the man's DEAD,leave your inane comments to yourself, you prove something that is wrong with this society and much worse than ANY drug abuse. A total lack of civility, humanity and manners. Greg was a genius,Harvard Law grad and one of the funniest comics today. As usual the body can't even get cold before some pompous fool has to hear himself talk. We have enough people in politics pushing their so-called values on us now you need to be the expert in accidental versus intentional overdose. There is a special place in hell for idiots like you. God Bless Greg RIP.

ikeaboy is a complete tool....just ignore the guy.

RIP Greg, you were a great comic and the roasts will quite frankly suck without you.

Greg, no one else made me laugh the way you did. R.I.P., buddy.
