Jamie Lee Curtis cheers on Jennifer Grey on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Regular viewers of ABC's cerebral "Lost" legacy show "Dancing with the Stars" may have noticed a familiar face in the audience last night. Yes, Sarah Palin was on hand to support daughter/contestant Bristol and possibly make herself the target of some spirited booing, but quietly enjoying the show from the sidelines -- again -- was Jamie Lee Curtis, who we got peeks of during Jennifer Grey's performance.

(UPDATE: As per Lisa de Moraes: "Contacted for comment, an ABC spokeswoman insisted the audience had been booing to express their displeasure over the score that had been doled out by the judges to Jennifer Grey." Though Grey got the highest score of the night, so go figure.)

What's the deal? It's as simple as Curtis showing up to support longtime friend Grey, although Curtis herself reportedly turned down offers to compete herself.

"I was in the Team Jennifer Grey, ... like, pen," Curtis told Access Hollywood after last Monday's show. "I'm hoping to be front row for Team Jennifer every week if I can. I'm going to try to."

For the record, this Celebritologist is on Team Situation. GTL!

The judges were getting booed, not Governor Palin.

Hey Liz,

I know it's your second day back and you're easing into things again, but is there a morning Mix for today?

Hey there DM, we're playing with the formula a bit. The morning mix is being re-worked and moved to midday. So expect it about an hour from now. Meanwhile, Jen and I have already posted this morning's buzziest items.
