Lindsay Lohan shopping SCRAM pix?

By Liz Kelly

While Lindsay Lohan is expected to check herself in to rehab (again) any moment now, US Weekly is claiming that the actress/train wreck tried to make a quick $10,000 by shopping around pix of herself taken over the weekend, including one in which Lohan is clad only in a tacky one-piece bathing suit and her court-ordered SCRAM ankle bracelet.

"Lindsay Lohan was calling around the pap agencies all weekend trying to get $10,000 up front to pose up in the SCRAM bracelet," a source told "All of the major players passed, and she ended up doing the setup with a small agency."

Lohan could indeed be cash-strapped after posting $300,000 in bail to win release from jail over the weekend. But despite some reports, bondsman David Perez said Lohan had no problem coming up with the funds. "Putting her behind bars was unfair," he added, to, instantly blowing any credibility he may have had with us.

Meanhwile, pix of Lohan supposedly shooting up heroin and partying with Paris Hilton hit the Web over the weekend, but we here at Celebritology HQ remain skeptical about their authenticity since they're super-grainy and originated from the U.K.'s notoriously sketchy News of the World.

What happened to the Morning Mix? Fear not -- the Mix still lives here, it's just moving to a midday time slot to help us all ease the dreaded lunch-at-the-desk ennui.

Nice story. Are you *quite sure* you wouldn't just rather have Desmond barf on you some more, Liz Kelly?

Moving to midday?

Does Byoolin still get the first comment?

Just to let Queen Liz know, that is Ole Elias's traditional nap time. Just make it tough on us old geezers.....

It's an experiment guys. We're open to fooling with the formula if midday doesn't work out.

It's now after 1 and no morning mix. I use the mix to start my day before I get ready to work.

The problem is not the time of the mix it's that all of sudden there are a lot more posts after it. It used to the Mix, then an afternoon post. Occassionaly an extra post if something really breaking happened. Now, we got separate "substantive" posts on: Jamie Lee Curtis at DWTS, Bret MIchals nekkid, and what the former Losties are up to. Really, those could all have been in the Mix.

Yes, we snark and yes, this is light stuff. We don't NEED to have deep, in depth discussions on what Bret Michaels naked on the Billboard cover means. That's for other parts of WAPO.

Please, less is more. Thanks.
