"Katherine Jackson is suing ... AEG Live LLC ... company did not provide life-saving equipment nor properly monitor the cardiologist supervising her pop-star son's care..." -- In response, AEG Live is suing Katherine and Joe Jackson for raising a completely messed up child who might have not had so many health issues had he any semblance of a normal childhood.

"25th anniversary covers of Elle Magazine cause controversy for allegedly lightening Gabourey Sidibe's skin" -- Oh please. Magazines lighten (or darken) EVERYONE's skin. It's called Photoshop and one of its (proper!) uses is to enhance visibility of a photo. Stuff like this (clearly) makes me crazy.

And now, a personal note from me to a current media darling.

-----------
Dear Jane Lynch, I love you and have been a fan for years. Your performance in "A Mighty Wind"? Fabulous. Scene-stealing on "Glee"? I love Sue but the Will hair jokes are getting old and you need a new track suit. I even loved your four-second part in "Julie & Julia." Well done.

Oh, and congrats on the Emmy.

But, for Pete's sake, turn down SOMETHING. "Glee," the frozen food commercials with Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Healthy Choice?), showing up on iCarly as Sam's mother. I could go on. And now "Ellen"?

Do you not get enough affirmation from your friends and family? What's next -- kissing Britney on an awards show? Wearing a beef two-piece with Lady Gaga? Cheating on your spouse with Jennifer Aniston? I mean if you're going for media hits, go all out! But seriously....

Please, woman, send your agent on a trip to Hawaii for two months (because he or she is CLEARLY overworked) and take a break. ENOUGH already.

Sincerely yours, td_in_baltimore

In for a penny, in for a pound: since Mama Jackson's probably overreaching in her claim that a multinational megalocorp should have babysat her son's personal cardiologist, let's hope her plea for relief includes the demand that Defendant bring MJ back to life.

Psst, Kid: "Waffle House Brawl" would be a GREAT name for an album. You're welcome.

[There are a whole bunch of Elle Magazine/Gabourey Sidibe jokes that even I, purveyor of The Great Lindbergh Baby Diss, dare not commit to print here. Let's just leave it at I Am A Horrible Person.]

That's Kid Rock? I thought it was a picture of Mickey Roarke. Not even a young version, the current one.

Mamma Jackson sues concert promoter for not being a babysitter. Last time I checked MJ was a grown adult. Not the promoter's job to make sure he is not an idiot. If Mamma Jackson was that concerned, why didn't SHE do the babysitting?

Speaking of Mickey Rourke, he turns 58 today.

I think the Jackson parents are as addicted to lawsuits as their son was to plastic surgery. Note to Jacksons: suing everybody and their brother *won't* bring your son back to life.

Gabby Sidibe's skin most definitely looks a heck of a lot lighter than in real life.

So Jennifer Hudson has dropped another 20 lbs., while proclaiming how comfortable she has always been in her own skin no matter what size she is. Disingenuous much?
