Paris Hilton detained in Japan

Paris Hilton guilty plea isn't the end of her troubles. (AP)
It seems Paris Hilton's troubles aren't behind her yet. The heiress was denied entry into Japan on Tuesday after landing at Narita Airport a day after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor drug charge. The heiress was traveling to the country for a planned appearance to promote her fashion line, the Associated Press reports. She was questioned by the airport's immigration office and was asked to stay at an airport hotel. Her rep told E! Online, "She intended on fulfilling her contract and is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control. She is very disappointed by tonight's events."
Japanese immigration authorities are legally allowed to deny entry to people convicted of drug-related offenses. This setback comes only a day after Hilton pleaded guilty to to drug possession and obstructing an officer in connection with her Las Vegas arrest last month.
We will update you on this extremely important situation as more information becomes available.

Paris Hilton's drug conviction means more countries in the world may (most likely) deny her entry. Poor Paris Hilton, NOT.

She plead guilty to a felony, which means she can never go to Canada.

No ... she was arrested for a felony but in a plea bargain plead guilty to a misdemeanor. I thinks its appropriate that she was detained .. its more of a punishment to be travel restricted by her conviction than the light sentence she got from Las Vegas.

I'm glad that she is held accountable by someone. Perhaps it will catch on.

"Beyond her control."
Apparently lots of things are.
So sad for her. Crying a river about all those things in her life she just can't control.

Shewasn't thinking about fulfilling her contracts while carrying drugs in her purse. Tsk, Tsk. Whoever hired her ought to sue her for breach of contract.
