Wayne Brady's 'Every Little Step' remake

By Liz Kelly

And the hits keep on coming. On the heels of Spencer Pratt's trailer and Courtney Love's animated short, Wayne Brady debuted a shot-for-shot remake of Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step" at The problem is, there isn't much funny there. Unless you are easily amused by Mike Tyson as a back-up dancer, retro biker shorts or Bobby Brown's cameo. I did enjoy it, though. Maybe because I like the song. Maybe because it distracted me from concerns about my house floating away. Or maybe because Brady has inaugurated a new art form: Celebrity karaoke.

For comparison's sake, here's the original video:

Also for comparison's sake, Wayne Brady actually being funny:

That wasn't even a little bit funny. And I loved Wayne Brady on Who's Line is it Anyway. And Mike Tyson is only funny when being made fun of for being his normal self, not for dancing badly.

I thought it was funny. Watching Mike Tyson try to dance was a hoot. Could have done without Bobby Brown though...

Wayne Brady is hit or miss. Sometimes he's really hilarious, or, as appears to be the case here, clearly having more fun doing this routine than an audience would be watching it. And Wayne? Keep the jacket on.
