Billy Ray Cyrus files for divorce

Billy Ray Cyrus, erstwhile country star and stage dad to the rapidly maturing Miley Cyrus, filed for divorce from Tish, his wife of 17 years, on Tuesday.
"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," the couple wrote in a joint statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."
Cyrus listed "irreconcilable differences" and not "achy breaky heart" as the reason for the divorce.
According to Us, he's asked for joint custody of Miley (17), Braison (16) and Noah (10).

I believe the "maturing" comment was a well-delivered bit of satire from the ladies of Celebritology, reddragon1.

Re "the rapidly maturing Miley Cyrus," we see her taking some of the same steps as Brit-brit. Wouldn't call increasing skanquosity "maturing."
