Chelsea Handler: 'Nothing to report' about 50 Cent
Despite DEFCON 4 romance buzz, Chelsea Handler took to her Twitter account on Wednesday to defuse rumors that she's romancing Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. Speculation about a possible pairing ran wild earlier this week when photos of the talk show host and rapper getting cozy at a New Orleans club surfaced online.
The rumored relationship even had Forbes speculating that the pair -- with a combined $39 million income in 2009 -- could be a new Hollywood power couple.
"Everyone, calm down," Handler tweeted. "I met with mr. Cent about a potential project. There's nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is."
So maybe it's all business. Or maybe the canny Ms. Handler is speaking in code. "Potential project" could mean anything from a movie script to moving in together. We'll be watching...
