Jennifer Aniston named most eligible single woman; Susan Sarandon shocked by split

Jennifer Aniston: single and ready to mingle? (AP)
Three celeb-centric stories on our radar this afternoon ...
1. Jennifer Aniston, top singleton: In a "60 Minutes"/Vanity Fair poll released Monday, Jennifer Aniston was voted the most eligible single woman in the world. No comment yet from Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer or "Cougar Town's" Josh Hopkins. Also no comment from "60 Minutes" as to why a perfectly respectable poll that started out with questions about a potential war with Iran and the so-called "Ground Zero mosque" ended up veering into tabloid territory. 2. Susan Sarandon shocked by split: "People were coming up to me in the street and saying 'I cried and cried when I heard,' " Susan Sarandon says in a sprawling new interview in the U.K.'s Telegraph. "Well, I was sadder! I didn't think it would ever happen, either." The clearly enchanted journo also takes the opportunity to chronicle Sarandon's jewelry -- "a safety pin in one ear, a stud in the other, a thumb ring and three necklaces including a pendant made from broken glass" -- and the fact that ping-pong balls continually interrupt the interview, some of them hitting Sarandon in the face. Sarandon, however, manages to dodge questions about whether she's dating Jonathan Bricklin, her partner in the New York ping-pong-themed nightclub Spin. "You have to have a sense of humor," Sarandon says. "There are lots of people in my life at the moment." [Telegraph.co.uk]
3. Public farewell for Tony Curtis: The actor, who died last week at the age of 85, will be eulogized Monday in Las Vegas. An hour-long funeral will be followed by a reception for 200 invited guests at the Luxor hotel-casino. According to the Associated Press, billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian, actor Kirk Douglas and singer Phyllis McGuire are among seven honorary pallbearers. [Associated Press]
Bonus: Courtney Love covers Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" (some NSFW language, natch):

Jennifer Aniston has had the same hair style for what, 10 years?!? Does this reflect her staying stuck-in-place after Brad? Think she might be more eligible - for whatever - if she made a few changes.

Wasn't Spongy Susan one of those who were going to leave America if Bush was elected? If so, why is she still here. If not, why does she till matter.

Anitson is a beautiful, smart, rich pothead; what more could a man want in a woman? Brad Pitt was an idiot.

Hey MRGB, wasn't Rush supposed to leave if Obama won? Now that would be a huge net gain.
