Rumor Mill: Courteney Cox vs. David Arquette: Who's to blame?

By Liz Kelly

Blame is being passed around like a hot potato in the break-up of Courteney Cox and David Arquette's 11 year marriage.

The latest tidbit to leak out from David Arquette's eye-opening Tuesday morning interview on the Howard Stern show: Arquette's suspicion that likely-soon-to-be-ex Courteney Cox was having an "emotional affair" with "Cougar Town" co-star Brian Van Holt. (I knew I'd regret canceling my Sirius radio subscription.)

For those playing along, we earlier learned that Arquette -- a man who called a nationally-aired radio show to discuss details of his marriage -- thinks Cox considered him immature and "embarrassing" and that he'd already moved on to "date" another woman, cocktail waitress Jasmine Waltz.

Radar Online has also posted a breathless story claiming that as far back as April Cox had spent the night with Holt on the "Cougar Town" set:

"The driver went there to get her to take her home but Brian (Van Holt) came out instead," according to one eyewitness, who spoke exclusively to
"Brian dismissed the driver, telling him that she (Courteney) would be staying there, and that he didn't need to come back."

On the other end of the continuum, "spies" tell E! Online that Arquette's "partying ways" led to the split and that he'd recently been spending a lot of time out with friend and business partner Jeff Beacher.

To be continued...

"Cocktail waitress Jasmine Waltz" sort of says it all. Shades of Jon Gosselin and Tiger Woods! Apparently "immature and embarassing" is a fair assessment. Plus his sister Patricia is sooooooo annoying, so I vote David.

The guy shows he is a putz just by going on Stern and blabbing about all of it. Tacky. She can certainly do better.
