George Michael released early from jail. Until he found out Denise Richards was penning a memoir. Then he asked to be put in solitary.

"Rumer Willis dating "Glee's" Chord Overstreet?"

Which one's the girl? Are they both girls, both guys, none of the above?

"Taylor Swift sued by former manager" -- Inevitable, really. She's cheer captain and he's on the bleachers.

"Denise Richards signs deal to pen memoir" -- Now she just has to learn how to write.

"Simon Cowell changes his name to 'Lightning' -- for 24 hours" -- He just wanted someone to put sunscreen on his back so he could call himself "Greased Lightning."

"George Michael gets early release from jail" -- Let's go outside. I know you want to but you can't say yes....

Daniel Craig "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" remake starts shooting in Stockholm. Unpublished Stieg Larsson book is confirmed.

Don't forget Kenneth Branagh as "Wallander" on PBS. Sounds like Sweden's becoming the new England (as opposed to New England, I guess).

"Idol's" Crystal Bowersox marries in hemp dress.

Did they smoke it afterwards?

Hey, byoolin, did you ever see that hockey musical movie at TIFF?

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving, byoolin. On his chat right now, Chris "The Fix" Cillizza's chat asks, "I can't wait until the Lions game later eh?"

RIP Joan Sutherland. We got to attend a couple of her late-career performances ("Norma," "Daughter of the Regiment"), by which time her instrument was sadly a bit shop-worn, but even then she was still a delight. Fortunately a number of her opera and recital performances were televised on PBS in her prime (hope they were saved), and she made numerous recordings, so I hope people will long be able to hear arguably the finest practitioner of bel canto of all time.

Denise Richards to pen memoir. I'm sure it won't take more than one pen to write, either.

Poor Laura Dern! She's 0-for-2 in the being-blindsided department. First Crazy Bob Thornton, now this guy.
