So long, Sad Keanu! Happy Keanu is here.

You did it, Internet! You turned Sad Keanu's frown upside down! I'm of course referring to the meme sparked by a picture of actor Keanu Reeves on a park bench looking ... sad. The photo resulted in countless PhotoShopped versions, documented on sadkeanu.com; this year's "Cheer Up Keanu Day" sponsored by a Facebook group dedicated to the cheer-up cause; and many hours of lost sleep worrying about Sad Keanu. Well, guys, it all payed off. Pictures of a smiling, almost giddy, Keanu, on the set of his new film "Generation Um," are now available for your PhotoShopping pleasure over at the Daily Mail.
Interestingly enough, Reeves was only informed about Sad Keanu this month by New York Magazine's Vulture blog. I'm happy to report that he approved, saying, "Well, it sounds like harmless, good clean fun."
I guess Keanu now knows what Oscar Bluth knew all along: "All you need is smiles."

Does it mean anything that when I saw "Arrested Development" in the YouTube title, I first thought of the group behind the hit "Tennessee"?
