A little zombie music to start your weekend
In what's either an attempt to get in the mood for Sunday's new "Walking Dead" episode or a clever attempt at social media marketing by AMC, the hashtag #zombielyrics has been making the rounds on Twitter today. And tweeters certainly have a flair for recrafting pop songs to make them more appropriate for the moaning, groaning, flesh-eating set.
Here are some of my favorites so far:
If you wanna eat my liver / you gotta get with my fiends / Make it last forever / Zombiehood never ends #ZombieLyrics #SpiceGhouls
Take the last brain to Clarkesville and I'll eat you at the station. #ZombieLyrics
[P] The brains in Spain / taste vaguely of lo mein... #zombielyrics
And then there's my lame attempt, a riff on a Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock classic:
"Joy and brains/Like sunshine ... and brains." #zombielyrics
Want to join the fun?
Tweet your favorite zombie-fied lyrics, using the hash tag #zombielyrics.
