By Liz Kelly and Jen Chaney

Celebrity Beat: Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian quit Twitter for a cause... Willie Nelson charged with marijuana possession in Texas... The first Prince William and Kate Middleton book hits bookstores just in time for Christmas... Cameron Diaz and A-Rod spend Thanksgiving weekend in Mexico... No one's interested in seeing Jennifer Aniston in a bikini, right?... Dane Cook has his eye on Eva Longoria... Joan Baez hospitalized after fall from backyard treehouse.

Rumor Mill: "Harry Potter's" Tom Felton denies fathering a secret love child... John Travolta threatens to sue Gawker over gay "secret sex life" claims... Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal spend Thanksgiving together in Brooklyn... "Jersey Shore" cast in talks for fourth season... Pregnant "Real Housewife of Atlanta" Kim Zolciak spotted smoking.

Pop Culture Mix: Mark Ruffalo added to terror watch list, confirming that the U.S. government is very suspicious of actors who play affable slackers in indie films... The first preview performance of Broadway's "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" is fraught with technical difficulties... Kevin Smith supposedly plans to auction off his new horror film, "Red State," at Sundance... Director Bill Condon tweets first teaser photo from "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" ... and there's an arm and feathers in it!... Could Twitter and Facebook-branded sneakers become the Air Jordans of this decade? Yeah, probably not.

Mark Ruffalo added to terror watch list...Come on it's way too early to be this judgmental about his portrayal of the Hulk.

Willie Nelson charged with marijuana possession in Texas...Willie needs to hire Billy Joe Shaver's attorney. I mean if the lawyer can get you acquitted after shooting a man in the face 6 oz of pot is nothing.

6 oz of pot on Willie Nelson is about half a day's supply. Why are we wasting scarce resources on busting this guy? Border Patrol should be stopping illegal aliens from crossing, not busting the one guy everyone knows (and doesn't care) has pot.

"Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian quit Twitter for a cause." Great. My last three remaining followers. Who knew the Twitterverse was still so sensitive about the Lindbergh baby?

Willie Nelson is one of the few men in America who can say with a straight face, "Yes, officer, that six ounces of weed is all for my personal use. Today."

"Cameron Diaz and A-Rod," or, as I a call them, "a stick and A-Rod"...

The sentence "Dane Cook has his eye on Eva Longoria" is even more disgusting if it's meant figuratively than if it's meant literally.

"Mark Ruffalo added to terror watch list." Sure, laugh now, but it wouldn't be funny when he explodes on the red carpet at Sundance.

Hey, Kevin Smith, good luck selling your film, but don't stand too close to Ruffalo. And don't mind the bomb-sniffing dogs - they're just smelling the residue of "Cop Out."

R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen: Surely a great Canadian. And no, I won't stop calling him that.

"Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian quit Twitter for a cause" -- To give tabloid reporters a breather? World peace? They all realize their limited talents? What?

"Willie Nelson charged with marijuana possession in Texas" -- Maybe IIIIII didn't stash it. Quite as safely as I could have....

"Dane Cook has his eye on Eva Longoria" -- Stand in line, you no-talent celinedion.

"John Travolta threatens to sue Gawker over gay 'secret sex life' claims" -- Seriously, there's nothing "secret" about it. Well, I don't think Kelly knows (shh!).

"'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark' is fraught with technical difficulties" -- For starters, the web keeps landing in the orchestra pit, sticking the woodwind section together in one big pile of oboe. Then the harness came loose, sending Spidey into the boxes (word has it Mr. Bloomberg suffered only minor cuts). It just got worse from there....

"Joan Baez hospitalized after fall from backyard treehouse" -- How many times must a girl climb high. Before she falls to the ground? The answer, my friend....

td-

"Dane Cook has his eye on Eva Longoria" -- Stand in line, you no-talent celinedion.

**************************************************

Please clarify which no talent celinedion you are speaking to.

Good point, Dorkus. I was referring to Dane, but I'm open to other interpretations.

I believe the DEA has been trying to nail Willie Nelson for about as long as there has been a DEA. The tax thing really didn't satisfy them. The fact that he was nabbed for only 6 ounces probably means it was a local bust.

Jen looks OK in that bikini. Still not that hawt, but OK. Especially considering.

Based on my extensive Dean Cook research (reading this blog), he was a no talent celeinedion BEFORE his eyes started wandering. Actually, I figure td has a better shot.

That's the ONLY way Kim Zolciak can be considered "really smoking."

If actors who play affable slackers are No Fly List fodder, I'm guessing Sean Penn is safe now, because he mostly plays conflicted police detectives. Probably wil get professional courtesy.

reddragon1, good point about Kim Zolciak.

BTW, I see your motive -- distraction from Penelope Cruz. Can't fool me. But Eva's not my type (and mrs. td might have something to say on the topic as well).
