Rumor Mill: Prince William and Kate Middleton to wed in 2011
Prince William and longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton will marry in 2011, Us Weekly is breathlessly reporting on the Web and in the magazine's latest issue.
The report sends rumors of the couple's impending nuptials into hyperdrive after Tuesday's report that the couple was inching closer to an engagement. Among the evidence: Kate's wardrobe, which includes pieces made by a designer who also crafts wedding gowns.
An unnamed source tells Us that the engagement will be announced in 2011 and, intriguingly, that the couple made a secret pact to marry three years ago while on vacation in the Seychelles. A secret so well kept that we've all been waiting for the announcement for, coincidentally, about three years.
The last time Kate and Wills engagement rumors reached this level of hype was back in June when royal watchers were convinced a question popping was imminent because two days were reportedly blocked out in palace diaries.
