Color me surprised that Heincer would even manipulate the court system to get attention. I would say sanction them for a frivolous filing but according to yesterday's item, they have no money. A better sanction would be to sentence them to 90 days of no publicity. Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Heincer apparently never understood the fable of the boy who cried wolf.

I don't like being punk'd, so I have put Speidi on my no-fly list. I can ignore them as well as I can all things Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and a few other tired "news" gluttons.

Jen and Liz, FYI ... Celebritology isn't showing up under Entertainment News anymore on the WaPo home page. It didn't yesterday, either.

"Martin Sheen to play Uncle Ben in upcoming Spider-Man movie" -- He has to show he can make rice first before they'll give him the part.

"Sally Field could play Aunt May" -- I have an even better idea! Aunt May is really the former Sister Bertrille. Imagine Peter Parker's surprise when he collides with her mid-air when his web snags her habit. It'd be GREAT.

"Aretha Franklin cancels all concert dates through May" -- She's home in bed singing, "R-E-S-T-4-M-E. That is what it means to me."

"Emma Bunton (a.k.a. Baby Spice) expecting her second child" -- Appears that her singing "put it on" in "2 Become 1" is a thing of the past.

RIP, Jill Clayburgh (best known to younger Lizards for playing Donald Sutherland's wife on "Dirty Sexy Money," but to us older Lizards for so many other memorable roles:

Oh no, and Shirley Verrett too. Saw her at the Kennedy Center many years ago.
