Peter Billingsley: He appeared on Nightline. And he still hasn't shot his eye out
Most people know what happened to Ralphie Parker from "A Christmas Story."
Peter Billingsley -- the actor who played the young boy who dreamed of BB guns and decoder pins -- grew up and became a Hollywood producer and director. He's even appeared in several of the movies (some of which he also produced) made by friends Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn, including "The Break-Up," "Iron Man" and two holiday movies: "Elf" and "Four Christmases."
Even for those who know what he's up to, it's still sort of fun to hear him talk "A Christmas Story" in this Nightline interview. Added bonus: footage from "A Christmas Story: The Musical," including the exciting leg lamp kickline! Not having seen the show, all I can say is this: I hope Grover Dill, Scut Farcus's crummy little toady, gets a decent solo.
