'Transformers: Dark of the Moon': The trailer arrives
Remember when the third "Transformers" movie was shooting here in Washington? You know, during that time period when Shia LaBeouf threw a cup of coffee at a photographer, then ran away like a frightened fifth grader?
The first trailer for that Michael-Bay-meets-Optimus-Prime extravaganza -- formally titled "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" -- is now online. In the clip, we don't see Mr. La Beouf or Josh Duhamel or even Rosie Huntington-Whitely (otherwise known as the new Megan Fox). It focuses primarily on the elements of the story inspired by the Apollo 11 moon landing.
Watch and decide whether this feels more like a preview for a "Transformers" movie or a Ron Howard film about an astronaut mission.

The only thing I can think of is that this is the ship the Autobots came to Earth in, from the Cartoon series.
However, now they are all being woken up by something and that's the story line?
Who knows.
