Hugh Jackman will present at the Oscars

Hugh Jackman, Oscar presenter.(AP/ABC)
He didn't have the bandwidth to host this year's Academy Awards. But Hugh Jackman will be there as a presenter.
The Academy announced today that Jackman will be among the many movie-star statuette presenters during the Feb. 27 ceremony; the release did not specify which category he will tackle.
We do hope this means there's a chance that Mr. Jackman will reprise his 2009 Oscar duet with co-host Anne Hathaway. Need to refresh your memory of that number? Watch it again after the jump.

Maybe if he did the show shirtless they'd appreciate him more, I know I would!!

Hugh Jackman was such a delight when he hosted the Tonys in the early aughts. I can't believe he hasn't been tapped for the Oscars. Then again, it's a different audience: they may not appreciate a talented song-and-dance man.
